Delhi has always been the food capital of the country. And rightly so!
The city has so much to offer in terms of its authentic, mouth-watering cuisines and delicacies. If you're a foodie like me, come indulge in exotic culinary experiences while soaking everything in.
In this blog post, I'm going to review a newly opened fine dining restaurant in Rajouri Garden, Delhi, by the name of Capital Grill. Just like any other fine dining restaurant, this one too provides full service with dedicated meal courses.
Decor
The decor is absolutely stunning. You can simply tell by looking around that the emphasis is on the use of high quality materials.
The waitstaff wears formal dress and is highly trained.

At the venue, I stumbled upon Rohit Malik, General Manager - Operations, who provided me some valuable insights into the day-to-day running of the restaurant.

Malik Says
- Capital Grill is the brainchild of Suri brothers, Anil and Vivek.
- At the moment, the restaurant operates out of a single location and caters to upper middle class families.
- The operations started just two weeks ago, that is, on May 15, 2015.
- They have the Ground Floor with them but plan to build a Lounge on the first floor and a Banquet Hall in the basement.
- Capital Grill is a multi-cuisine restaurant with focus on offering the best continental grills in the country.
Welcome Drinks
Among the eleven mocktails that I gulped down one by one, my personal 'summer' favorite is the nonalcoholic Sangria served with a dash of fruits.

If you're fond of mixed fruit juices, this mocktail has just the right blend of orange and pineapple to win you over. It'll remind you of Blue curacao, which is basically an orange liqueur dyed blue.

Capital Grill Special Pastry
[Rating: *** out of *****]
Another trick up their sleeve. This pleasant-tasting pastry is made of bottle gourd but you'd never be able to tell.
So there, I'd rate the Capital Grill high on quality of food, service, and decor. That said, there are some areas for improvement like the lighting and background music.
