HP and Bang & Olufsen - Introducing the Next Gen of Gaming and Premium Audio Experience for the Indian Market
What happens
when the pioneers of tech meet the maestros of music? Nothing less than sheer
magic!
Last month,
a bunch of elite, Delhi-based tech bloggers witnessed what I'd call a strategic
alliance between HP and Bang & Olufsen.
We were
invited for the launch of the new range of HP Notebooks by none other than Mr. Ketan Patel, Director, Personal Systems, PPS, HP India.
Day &
Date: Wednesday, May 27, 2015
Venue: Q'La,
4A, Bhagwan Dass Marg, Mehrauli, Delhi
HP B&O
Nite started with a DJ session with MIDIval Punditz, an Indian fusion group
formed by two musicians, Gaurav Raina and Tapan Raj. Their music was
mesmerizing, revolving mostly around changer, jungle, electronica, and North
Indian classical music.

Then came
the moment we had all been waiting for. The launch of new and improved HP
Pavilion 15 (with B&O PLAY) and HP Omen which is a gaming laptop designed
in partnership with Bang & Olufsen.
The event
was facilitated by key representatives from both HP and Bang & Olufsen, such
as:
- Mr. Ketan Patel: Director – Personal Systems, PPS, HP India
- Mr. Gaganmeet Singh: CEO, Bang & Olufsen India

By
collaborating with Bang & Olufsen, HP hopes to pack a punch. The PC market
across the world is already under the radar for concerns over weight, form factor,
audio and video quality, performance, power consumption, portability, etc.
Despite the volatility in this market, one thing that hasn't changed much is
the customer's growing appetite for non-stop entertainment.
Customers
demand a lot from their devices these days - fantastic sound reproduction
through headphones or built-in speakers, enhanced sound to their liking,
superior gaming features, etc.
And that is
where HP sees a BIG opportunity.
The new HP
Notebooks promise to deliver a powerful and immersive audio experience through
state-of-the-art sound and tuning from Bang & Olufsen.
