Ever been to a global cuisine restaurant that makes you want to visit over and over again? Last weekend a team lunch at the Park Plaza Noida turned out to be quite a revelation.
Located in the heart of Park Plaza is a classic restaurant by the name of New Town Cafe (NTC). Even though the restaurant came into being nearly five years ago, I only got to visit it this month.

From the moment you walk into this property, you can't help but draw parallel to an ostensibly happy town. The ambiance truly projects the spirit of a township.

Perfect for a casual dining experience, the restaurant also embraces an open kitchen, which is quite a hit with the guests. Come, meet the chefs and watch them cook your favorite dishes right in front of your eyes.
Both buffet and à la carte menus are available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so choose what you feel is convenient.

The menu is pretty elaborately done. On one hand, you have the option of trying exotic Grilled Prawns, Norwegian Salmon, or Ratatouille Lasagna; on the other hand, oriental delights like Massaman Lamb Curry or Nasi Goreng will leave you craving for more.

I quite enjoyed the Indian palate, comprising of Goan Prawn Curry, Nalli Awadhi Korma, and Anjeer Ke Kofte. For someone like me with a sweet tooth, a bevy of tempting desserts are available - ranging from Tiramisu to Crème Brûlée.

In the mood of a comprehensive buffet spread? The NTC comprises a Cold section, Main Spread, and Dessert section. My only pet peeve is that soup has to be ordered separately.

The restaurant is open every day from 7 am to 1 am. Here are the buffet timings:
- Breakfast buffet: 7 am to 10 am
- Lunch buffet: 12.30 pm to 3 pm
- Dinner buffet: 7 pm to 11.30 pm
A meal for two is priced at INR 2598/- plus taxes (includes soft drinks with food). If you want to order hard drinks with food, the price is INR 3198/- plus taxes.
Other attractions of the restaurant include Shawarma grill, cold and hot food stations, wood fried pizza oven, and an adjoining water body with reflection pool and waterfall.

With 110 covers in the dining area and 56 covers in the lounge, the NTC stirs up vivid images of a city skyline with amazing photographs and signs. The restaurant provides a perfect setting for informal meetings and family get together.
