Awadhi Cuisine: A Journey of Flavors
The Awadhi cuisine hails from the royal kitchens of Lucknow, known for its rich history, culture, and royal lineage.

It's a melting pot of flavors, infused with aromatic spices and carefully honed cooking techniques, making every dish an unforgettable experience.
The Ambiance
As you step into Badmaash Kebabi, you are instantly transported to the regal era of Awadh. The restaurant's ambiance is inspired by traditional Lucknowi decor, ornate pendant lighting, intricate artwork, and plush seating arrangements. The walls were adorned with paintings depicting the Nawabi culture and the soft, soulful melodies of classical music playing in the background set the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience.
Signature Dishes: A Gastronomic Extravaganza
Quite honestly, if I had it my way, I would have tried everything there was on the menu. Here I only list my top four favorites.
Mutton Galouti Kebab
A true showstopper, the Mutton Galouti Kebab is a melt-in-your-mouth delicacy that is sure to leave you craving for more. Prepared using minced mutton, exotic spices, and tenderizing agents, these kebabs are skillfully cooked to perfection on a griddle.
Tandoori Chicken
A staple in Indian cuisine, Badmaash Kebabi's Tandoori Chicken stands out for its juicy and succulent flavors. The chicken is marinated in a blend of spices and yogurt before being roasted in the traditional clay oven, the tandoor.
Roomali Roti
Literally translating to "handkerchief bread," Roomali Roti is a thin, soft bread that complements the flavorful kebabs and gravies perfectly. Watching the skilled chefs toss and twirl the dough to create this delicate bread is a captivating experience.
Ulta Tawa Paratha
This unique "upside-down" paratha is a delight to both the eyes and taste buds. Made by cooking the dough on an inverted griddle, the Ulta Tawa Paratha is slightly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, making it an ideal accompaniment for a range of gravies.
Beyond the Signature Dishes
While the signature dishes take center stage, Badmaash Kebabi offers an extensive menu featuring an array of authentic Awadhi dishes.
Each preparation bears the hallmark of traditional Awadhi cooking, from rich and creamy kormas to fragrant biryanis.
Hospitality and Service
The warm hospitality and attentive service at Badmaash Kebabi elevate the dining experience to new heights. The staff is well-versed with the menu and is more than happy to recommend dishes based on individual preferences. Their dedication to providing top-notch service ensures that you feel right at home.
Badmaash Kebabi has undoubtedly become a culinary beacon in Sector 70, Gurugram, offering a nostalgic journey through the regal flavors of Lucknow.
