In this blog post, I explore The Great Bear Kitchen & Microbrewery in Sector 26, Chandigarh.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Great Bear Kitchen & Microbrewery in Sector 26, Chandigarh. This establishment, situated in the heart of the city's food and beverage scene, offers an experience that delights all the senses. The brewery is distinguished by its excellent brews, inviting ambiance, and innovative design.
First Impressions
From the outside, The Great Bear presents a modest facade. But as soon as you step inside, you're transported to a different world. The interior, designed by the renowned architect Arun Loomba, strikes a balance between picturesque charm and industrial chic.

The decor is captivating, with vintage sewing machine tops repurposed into tabletops, giving a whimsical touch to the space. It felt like stepping into a creatively curated museum dedicated to beer lovers.

The highlight of the space is undoubtedly the high stainless steel fermenting tanks, proudly lining the midsection of the brewery. It's here that the magic happens, crafting four distinct flavors: Golden Ale, German Bock, Weiss Bier, and The Brewer's Special.
